Wine Production Facility
Mountain States completed the 52,000 SF Wine Production/Processing Facility in Prosser, WA in time for the 2012 harvest. The building was constructed of insulated concrete tilt-up walls, steel bar joist & deck system, and structural interior slab on grade.
This facility utilizes some methods of handling and processing fruit that are not often seen in Washington but done more frequently in California. For instance, the facility has a grape receiving/dumping area that is elevated approximately 18’-0” above the crush pad to help create a more gentle delivery of the grapes from the receiving area to the presses.
